📌 Conditional Sentences (Koşul Cümleleri)

• Type 0 (genel gerçek): If + Present Simple, Present Simple. “If you heat ice, it melts.”
• Type 1 (gerçek/olası): If + Present Simple, will + V1. “If I see her, I will tell her.”
• Type 2 (hayali / şu an gerçek değil): If + Past Simple, would + V1. “If I had time, I would visit you.”
• Type 3 (geçmişte gerçekleşmemiş): If + Past Perfect (had + V3), would have + V3. “If I had studied, I would have passed.”

⚡ Friendship Idioms

• A friend in need is a friend indeed. = Dost kara günde belli olur.
• Through thick and thin = İyi günde kötü günde, her koşulda
• To stay/keep in touch = İletişimde kalmak
• To lose touch with = Bağlantıyı kaybetmek
• To keep a secret = Sır saklamak / To spill the beans = Ağzından kaçırmak
• To get on/along with = İyi geçinmek
• To fall out with = Biriyle araya gerginlik girmek

💬 Functional Language — Sympathy & Advice

Sympathy: “I’m sorry to hear that.”, “That must be difficult.”, “I understand how you feel.”
Advice: “Why don’t you…?”, “How about (V-ing)?”, “If I were you, I would…”, “You should…”

⚠️ Dikkat: “Through thick and thin” deyiminde through yerine başka edat kullanılmaz. Sabit kalıptır.
