Bu ünitede karşılaştırma yapıları gezegen bilgisiyle pekiştirilir:

Answer: She went to Paris last summer. (Simple Past, irregular: go → went)
Question 2: Which verb do we use with “swimming”? play, do, or go?
Answer: Go swimming. Sporlar -ing ile bitiyorsa “go” kullanılır: go swimming, go skiing, go cycling.
Question 3: “Mount Everest is ____ (high) mountain in the world.” Fill in.
Answer: Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world. (Superlative: kısa sıfat + -est)
Question 4: “You ____ throw rubbish in the sea.” (yasak) Choose: mustn’t / don’t have to
Answer: You mustn’t throw rubbish in the sea. (Mustn’t = yasak. Don’t have to = gerek yok, farklı anlam!)
Question 5: “Would you like to come to my party?” Accept and refuse.
Accept: “Sure, I’d love to!” / “That sounds great!”
Refuse: “I’m sorry, I can’t. I’m busy.” / “I’m afraid I have other plans.”
Question 6: “I ____ be a pilot when I grow up.” (will / going to)
Answer: Both are possible! “I will be a pilot.” (tahmin/karar) veya “I’m going to be a pilot.” (plan). LGS’de genellikle cümle bağlamına göre seçim yapılır.
Question 7: How do you get to the hospital? (go straight, turn right, on your left)
Answer: “Go straight ahead, then turn right at the traffic lights. The hospital is on your left, next to the pharmacy.”
Question 8: “She has got blue eyes and curly hair. She is very kind.” Describe in one sentence.
Answer: “She is a kind person with blue eyes and curly hair.” veya “She is kind and she has blue eyes and curly hair.”
