Bu ünitede gelecekteki hayallerimizi, meslek planlarımızı ve isteklerimizi İngilizce olarak ifade etmeyi öğreneceksin. “will” ile gelecek zaman cümleleri kurmayı, “want to / would like to” ile istek bildirmeyi ve “hope / dream” ile umut ve hayallerini anlatmayı bu sayfada detaylı olarak bulacaksın.

Hayaller konusunda en çok konuşulan konu gelecekteki mesleklerdır. İşte en yaygın meslekler:

🔮 “Will” ile Gelecek Zaman
“Will” gelecekte olacak şeyleri, planları ve tahminleri ifade etmek için kullanılır. Tüm kişilerde aynıdır.

Hayallerle İlgili “Will” Cümleleri
• I will become a famous scientist. (Ünlü bir bilim insanı olacağım.)
• She will travel around the world. (Dünyayı gezecek.)
• We will build a big hospital. (Büyük bir hastane inşa edeceğiz.)
• They will live in a big city. (Büyük bir şehirde yaşayacaklar.)
• He will write a bestselling book. (Çok satan bir kitap yazacak.)
💡 “Want to” ve “Would like to”
Want to (istemek)
İsteklerimizi doğrudan ifade eder. Günlük konuşmada sık kullanılır.
• I want to be a doctor. (Doktor olmak istiyorum.)
• She wants to travel to Japan. (Japonya’ya seyahat etmek istiyor.)
• They don’t want to live in a small town. (Küçük bir kasabada yaşamak istemiyorlar.)
• Do you want to become an engineer? (Mühendis olmak istiyor musun?)
⚠️ Dikkat: He/She/It ile “want” → “wants” olur! “She want” yanlış, “She wants” doğru.
Would like to (istemek – kibar)
“Want to” ile aynı anlama gelir ama daha kibar ve daha resmi bir ifadedır.
• I would like to be a teacher. (Öğretmen olmak isterim.)
• She would like to study mediçine. (Tıp okumak isterdi.)
• We would like to help people. (İnsanlara yardım etmek isteriz.)
Kısaltma: would like to = ‘d like to → I’d like to be a pilot.

🌟 “Hope”, “Dream” ve “Plan”
Hope (umut etmek)
• I hope to become a doctor one day. (Bir gün doktor olmayı umuyorum.)
• She hopes to win the competition. (Yarışmayı kazanmayı umuyor.)
Dream of (hayal etmek)
• I dream of becoming an astronaut. (Astronot olmayı hayal ediyorum.)
• He dreams of living abroad. (Yurt dışında yaşamayı hayal ediyor.)
💡 Not: “dream of” yapısından sonra fiil -ing takısı alır! “dream of become” yanlış, “dream of becoming” doğru.
Plan to (planlamak)
• I plan to study engineering at university. (Üniversitede mühendislik okumayı planlıyorum.)
• We plan to move to a bigger house. (Daha büyük bir eve taşınmayı planlıyoruz.)
