This unit is about holidays, vacation activities, and talking about past experiences. You’ll learn to describe what you did on holiday using past tense.
🎯 Holiday Activities

💡 Past Simple Questions
Where did you stay? – Nerede kaldın?
- I stayed at a comfortable hotel in downtown.
- I stayed at my grandparents’ house.
What did you do there? – Orada ne yaptın?
- I went skiing with my family.
- I visited historical places and swam in the sea.
📚 Holiday Types
- Beach holiday: Plaj tatili (swimming, sunbathing)
- Winter holiday: Kış tatili (skiing, snowboarding)
- Scout camp: İzci kampı (outdoor activities)
- City break: Şehir turu (sightseeing, museums)
⚠️ Was/Were in Past Tense
- I was in Bodrum last week.
- We were at a winter sport center.
- Was your sister with you? – No, she wasn’t.
