Bu ünitede hayvan isimlerini İngilizce olarak öğrenecek, hayvanları tanımlayacak ve onlar hakkında basit cümleler kuracağız. “Can” yapısı, “have/has” kullanımı ve hayvanları sınıflandırma bu ünitenin temel konularıdır.

“Can” sözcüğü yetenek ve beceri bildirmek için kullanılır. Hayvanların neler yapabildiğini anlatırken “can” kullanırız.

- Fish can swim. (Balıklar yüzebilir.)

Olumsuz Cümle (Negative)
Özne + can’t (cannot) + fiil
- Fish can’t fly. (Balıklar uçamaz.)
- Snakes can’t walk. (Yılanlar yürüyemez.)
- Elephants can’t jump. (Filler zıplayamaz.)
- Cats can’t talk. (Kediler konuşamaz.)

Can + özne + fiil + ?
- Can dogs swim? → Yes, they can. / No, they can’t.
- Can penguins fly? → No, they can’t.
- Can horses run fast? → Yes, they can.
⚠️ Hatırla: “Can” kelimesinden sonra fiil yalın halde gelir. Fiile -s, -es, -ing eklenmez! Dogs can runs yanlış, Dogs can run doğru!

Hayvanların özelliklerini anlatırken “have” (sahip olmak) kullanırız.
