Aynı cümle farklı tonlamalarla farklı duygular ifade eder:

Scanning Stratejisi

Scanning, metinde belirli bir bilgiyi hızlıca bulmak için kullanılan okuma tekniğidir. Psikoloji konulu metinlerde şu bilgiler aranabilir:

  • İsimler ve tarihler: “Who developed this therapy?” → Metinde kişi adı ara.
  • Sayılar ve istatistikler: “What percentage of teens feel stressed?” → Rakamları tara.
  • Terimler ve tanımlar: “What is CBT?” → Kalın yazılmış veya italik terimlere bak.
  • Neden-sonuç: “Why do people feel anxious?” → because, due to, as a result gibi ifadeleri ara.
