Tonlama ve Duygu İlişkisi
Aynı cümle farklı tonlamalarla farklı duygular ifade eder:
- “That’s great.” ↘ (düşen ton) → Gerçekten harika, samimi.
- “That’s great.” → (düz ton) → İlgisiz, umursamaz.
- “That’s great?” ↗ (yükselen ton) → Şüpheci, gerçekten mi?
Sentence Stress (Cümle Vurgusu)
Cümlede hangi kelimeyi vurgularsanız anlam değişir:

Scanning Stratejisi
Scanning, metinde belirli bir bilgiyi hızlıca bulmak için kullanılan okuma tekniğidir. Psikoloji konulu metinlerde şu bilgiler aranabilir:
- İsimler ve tarihler: “Who developed this therapy?” → Metinde kişi adı ara.
- Sayılar ve istatistikler: “What percentage of teens feel stressed?” → Rakamları tara.
- Terimler ve tanımlar: “What is CBT?” → Kalın yazılmış veya italik terimlere bak.
- Neden-sonuç: “Why do people feel anxious?” → because, due to, as a result gibi ifadeleri ara.
İpucu: Scanning yaparken tüm metni okuma! Anahtar kelimeyi gözünle tara, bulduktan sonra sadece o cümleyi ve çevresini oku.
