📖 Reading Comprehension (Okuduğunu Anlama)
İngilizce bir paragraf verilir ve bu paragrafa dayalı sorular sorulur. Başarılı olmak için şu adımları izle:
- Önce soruyu oku: Ne sorulduğunu bil, sonra metne dön. Bu şekilde aradığın bilgiyi daha hızlı bulursun.
- Anahtar kelimelere odaklan: Soruda geçen önemli kelimelerin metindeki karşılıklarını bul.
- Main idea soruları: “What is the best title?” gibi sorularda metnin genelini düşün. Tek bir detaya değil, ana fikre odaklan.
- Detail soruları: “According to the text…” gibi sorularda cevap doğrudan metinde bulunur.
- Inference soruları: “It can be inferred that…” gibi sorularda metin doğrudan söylemez ama ima eder.
🔄 Translation (Çeviri)
İngilizce-Türkçe çeviri sorularında dikkat edilmesi gerekenler:
- Cümle yapısını koru: İngilizce cümlenin öznesi, yüklemi ve nesnesi Türkçeye doğru aktarılmalı.
- Bağlaçlara dikkat: “since”, “because”, “although”, “as” gibi bağlaçların Türkçe karşılıklarını doğru kullan.
- “Since” iki anlam taşır: “-den beri” (zaman) ve “çünkü, -dığı için” (neden). Bağlama göre doğru olanı seç.
- Kelime kelime çevirme: Doğal Türkçe cümle kur, her kelimeyi tek tek çevirmeye çalışma.
Örnek: “They have been successful because they work hard.” → “Çok çalıştıkları için başarılı oldular.” (Doğal Türkçe) ✓ “Onlar başarılı oldular çünkü onlar sıkı çalışırlar.” (Kelime kelime, yapay) ✗
💬 Dialogue Completion & Ordering
Diyalog tamamlama ve sıralama sorularında ipuçları:
- Soru-cevap eşleşmesi: Her soru kendi mantıklı cevabıyla eşleşmeli. “Do you…?” sorusuna “Yes, I do” / “No, I don’t” ile başlayan cevap gelir.
- Bağlam takibi: Diyalogda bir konu açılıyorsa, sonraki replik o konuyla ilgili olmalı.
- Geçiş ifadeleri: “Well”, “Actually”, “By the way” gibi ifadeler konu değişimini veya karşıt görüşü işaret eder.
- Giving advice: “Why don’t you…?”, “You should…”, “How about…?” gibi kalıplar öneri bildiren ifadelerdir.
📝 Vocabulary (Kelime Bilgisi)
Boşluk doldurma ve kelime soruları için bilmen gereken yaygın deyimler:

🗣️ Reported Speech (Dolaylı Anlatım)
Birinin söylediğini aktarırken zaman uyumu gerekir:
- Direct: “Do you want coffee?” → Indirect: He asked if I wanted coffee.
- Kural: Aktarma fiili geçmiş zamandaysa (asked, said, told), cümledeki zaman bir adım geriye kayar.
- Present Simple → Past Simple, Present Continuous → Past Continuous, Will → Would
- Yes/No soruları: “if” veya “whether” ile aktarılır.
- Wh- soruları: Soru kelimesi korunur ama cümle düz sıraya döner.
