🇬🇧 Future Jobs – Gelecek Meslekler

Bu ünite, gelecekteki meslek planlarından, tahminlerden ve gelecekle ilgili cümle yapılarından bahsetmektedir. İngilizce’de gelecek zaman ifade etmek için iki temel yapı kullanılır: will ve be going to.

🔮 “Will” Kullanımı

Will, gelecekle ilgili tahmin, anlık karar ve genel öngörülerde kullanılır:

• Tahmin (prediction): I think robots will do dangerous jobs in the future.
• Anlık karar (spontaneous decision): It’s cold. I will close the window.
• Vaat / söz (promise): I will help you with your project.

Yapı: Özne + will + fiil (yalın hâli)

Olumsuz: will not (won’t) → Global warming won’t stop easily.

Soru: Will + özne + fiil? → Will people live on Mars?

📋 “Be Going To” Kullanımı

Be going to, önceden planlanmış niyetler ve kanıta dayalı tahminlerde kullanılır:

• Plan / niyet: I am going to visit my grandmother this weekend.
• Kanıta dayalı tahmin: He studies science at university. He is going to be an engineer.

Yapı: Özne + am/is/are + going to + fiil

Olumsuz: am/is/are + not + going to → She isn’t going to change her plan.

💡 Conditional Sentences (If Clauses – Type 1)

Gelecekle ilgili koşul cümleleri Type 1 yapısıyla kurulur:

If + Simple Present, will + fiil

• If global warming continues, there will be more natural disasters.
• If you keep studying without rest, you will burn out.

Hatırla: If cümleciğinde “will” kullanılmaz! If + Simple Present yapısı, sonuç cümleciğinde will kullanılır.

💬 Making Plans and Suggestions

Plan yapmak ve öneri sunmak için kullanılan kalıplar:

• What about + V-ing? → What about joining the trip?
• Why don’t we/you…? → Why don’t we visit the museum?
• Would you like to…? → Would you like to come with us?
• What are your plans for…? → What are your plans for the weekend?

⚠️ Test İpucu: Diyalog tamamlama sorularında, cevap cümlesindeki zaman yapısına dikkat et. Cevap “I am going to…” ile başlıyorsa soru muhtemelen plan sormaktadır. Cevap “I think… will…” diyorsa tahmin yapısıdır.
